Anna Magnan-Park is a translator and senior lecturer at Indiana University South Bend (USA) where she teaches French and English literature from the Pacific. She has also co-translated a collection of short stories written by Patricia Grace that was published by Au Vent des Îles.

Anne grew up in Provence. She earned her PhD in English literature from Rennes 2 University. She is a translator and lecturer at Indiana University (USA) where she has been giving classes in English and French literature in the Pacific for the past ten years. She has translated and co-translated several literary works and, more recently, films. Her two co-translators are Jean Anderson – as for literature published by Au Vent des Îles, and Nelly Gillet, for cinema. She was a member of the jury for the National Translation Award (USA) in 2015. For the past eight years, she has been leading a series of discussions on translation at her university. She recently founded Translate for Toddlers, a project that aims at welcoming French-speaking refugees and immigrants in the region where she lives by giving their families children’s books that her students translated into French.
